# Encaustic 16 x Wax Blocks - Starter Set

The 16 block wax STARTER colours provide a good palette for beginning encaustic art. Colours can be mixed to obtain various hues.

Wax Block size: approx. 10g-12g - 11mmx24mmx42mm

TIP: The liquidity or flow qualities of the waxes are different too. As a rough guide the lighter colours are more liquid (fluid) than the darker ones when they are all melted at the same temperature. Also the hotter the temperature the thinner the wax consistency.
